Arto Lindsey

Arto did start out with DNA. John Zorn's lable re-released a DNA set sometime last year. You also might be able to track down a copy of No New York. Arto also played with the Lounge Lizards (check out the first album), Material, John Zorn (check out The Big Gundown), and Nana Vasconcelos (check out Bush Dance). Arto's band is called the Ambitious Lovers. The Ambitious Lovers got three albums out:
Envy (1983)
Greed (1988)
Lust (1991)
Arto also pops up in "Desperately Seeking Susan" (the movie) as the really skinny nerdy looking guy with the big round glass (himself) working or waiting in the social security office. He also plays on Kip Hanrahan's "Desire develops an Edge", and more recently on Marisa Monte's latest and previous CD's.
