Presented visual analogues can facilitate transfer in the
Radiation problem.
Presentation of of a problem and it's visual representation
facilitates solution recall.
Gick and Holyoak's failure is a result of the poor diagrams
they used.
Gick and Holyoak (1983) could not get diagrams to help in the
radiation problem, which is counter to the findings of Driestadt
(1969). Gick and Holyoak's diagrams didn't represent intensity or
summation. This research does.
